OUR HISTORY

Thank you for visiting our site, we thought you may wish to know a little about us.

we first met in 1974, i was 19 yrs and in the army and Brenda 16 yrs. we married in 1977 we had our first child a boy in 1978, and decided to buy a puppy as most families do, this was a black lab, Blackie.

The following year we had our second son and as if by chance Brenda's mothers dog had puppies and we were giving one as a friend for Blackie she was a cross breed, we named her Penny.

Two yrs later we had our third son, but no puppy. ha ha.

in 1982 we had to loss Blackie as she turned aggressive towards children, we then decided to rescue an adult male GSD that was being mistreated by my sister., until we got Sabre the GSD Brenda was afraid of them, Sabre was great a very good temprement and she would follow us everywhere and a great friend for Penny.

From Sabre came our interest in German Shepherds and dog shows.

Penny pasted away in 1984, and after we lost her we decided to get another GSD, but the time a KC registered one. this when Bella      ( Arazona Bell) joined our family. a year later we lost Sabre from old age he feel asleep and did not wake again.

we were being told by other people how nice Bella was and so we decided to show her with a little success, we then got another puppy, But this time a Cocker Spaniel MOLLY as Brenda wanted something to show.

After having success with Bella we bought ABBIE (Alberdale Georgie) was a great show dog we decided to breed her and had great success there to. Brenda was also having a little success with Molly, in 1990 we lost molly to cancer. then we saw a advert offering a couple of Cocker dogs Molly and Scott, who joined our growing family.

Abbie went on to produce some stunning litters, the first litter gave us LEAH (Brenberry Alexia) Who went on to win a couple of RCC  and several 1st 2nd and 3rd at championship shows, also  1st and and 3rd places at CRUFTS. this Leah pictured after her first win at CRUFTS.

The second litter produced BRIA (Brenberry Battista) who although did not win as much as Leah, she still had many wins and places. Abbie's 3rd litter gave us TIA (Brenberry Calista). Tia had a short show career she did place a few times but suffered fron cancer an we lost her at a young age.

In 2001 my arthritis got worse and i could not give the dogs the training  they needed, so i let Leah and Bria go to a friend of ours who shows dogs and help us a great deal when we first started showing, in exchange we were given a puppy with a fantastic temprement but was not suitable for showing. DANNY .

we lost Danny in 2012.

We then had Molly 2nd another cocker spaniel, and had many good years with her until she got ill with a blood disorder.

In 2020 my wife decided we should have another dog and she wanted a pug as I would also be able to take  her for a walk her name was Duchess, she turned out be be a very good pug , we decided to start showing again, Duches has hasad a very successful show career and continues to win, she produced has great litter, we kept a female Willow who is having a great show career.
